A project has been conducted with joint participation with the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture in 2022/2023 spring. For this project a monument, commemorating the victims of the Kahramanmaras-Pazarcık earthquake on February 6,2023, was jointly designed by architecture and civil engineering students. The monument had to reflect the great losses we had in this earthquake in an artistic manner, to remind the future generations of their responsibilities as civil engineers and architects. The main structure of the monument had to be reinforced concrete and the structure had to be at least 15m tall. The top 3 graded projects both in their designs and calculations are can be seen in the poster.
