One of the faculty members of our department, Assoc. Prof. Bergüzar Özbahçeci attended the congress organized by the Turkish Wind Energy Association in Istanbul on 7-8 November 2023 as an invited speaker. At the congress held with the motto “Century of the Wind”, our professor gave a speech titled “Future Offshore Wind Energy Technology: Floating Wind Turbines”, gave information about the developments regarding floating-based wind turbines and explained the experimental and numerical studies they carried out with master and doctoral students in our department.
