Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bergüzar Özbahçeci and Asst. Prof. Dr. Doğan Kısacık from our department, together with their students — Ph.D. student Hilal Çelik Karaca and M.Sc. students Nihan Eroğlu, Rabia Karagöz, and Onur Deniz Türkseven — participated in the “1st Conference on New Horizons in Coastal Engineering” hosted by Yıldız Technical University.

Bringing together engineers and researchers from academia, private sector, and public institutions working in the field of coastal and ocean engineering in Türkiye, the conference provided an excellent platform for our faculty members and students to present their studies, meet colleagues, and exchange ideas on current research topics.
