MINOR PROGRAM
The Civil Engineering Department Minor Program is a program open to undergraduate students who are registered to one of our institute’s undergraduate programs and meet the necessary application requirements. The conditions for application, attendance and graduation to the Civil Engineering Department Minor Program are specified in the IYTE Minor Program Directive.
Students who successfully complete the Minor Program are entitled to receive a “Civil Engineering Minor Certificate”. This document cannot be used as a diploma.
Students who are accepted to the program must complete the courses specified in the table below in order to complete the program. Students must meet the prerequisites applied in the Civil Engineering undergraduate program for each course they will take.
The courses to be taken by the student are directed by the Minor Coordinator and Student Advisor. The operation of the program and the evaluation of course counting are carried out by the Department Minor Coordinator.
MINOR PROGRAM COURSES
Total Number of Credits: 15
The student must take the following compulsory courses and at least 12 credits from the elective list for the Minor.
Even if a student has taken any of the listed courses or their equivalent in their Major, they must complete 15 credits from the other courses listed.
