Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bergüzar Özbahçeci, a faculty member of our department, and her PhD student and research assistant Elif Türkarslan participated in the ASME 2025 6th International Offshore Wind Technical Conference (IOWTC 2025) held in Toulon, France, between October 27–29, 2025, and presented their studies.
The conference addressed current topics such as innovative floating offshore wind turbine concepts, model testing, hydrodynamic and coupled analyses, structural design, mooring systems, cable design, and digital twin applications.
As part of the participation, technical visits were organized to the IFREMER and OCEANIDE research centers, where France’s advanced experimental testing infrastructures were examined on site.
