Assistant Prof. Doğan Kısacık and MSc student Atilla Baran Mungan attended the Consortium Meeting of the Horizon Europe DuneFront Project, held at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) on 18–19 November 2025.

The DuneFront Horizon project focuses on developing innovative hybrid coastal protection measures by combining natural dune systems with engineered structures such as seawalls. These hybrid Dune-by-Dike Nature-based Solutions aim to establish a new generation of sustainable, resilient, and aesthetically enhanced coastal protection systems.
