EU-funded strategic project from IZTECH.
Within the scope of the “UGS4ClimateDW” project, supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, groundwater in İzmir’s coastal aquifers will be monitored in real time using digital sensor technologies.
Implemented in cooperation with İZSU, the project will:
🔹 Enable online monitoring against seawater intrusion,
🔹 Support the development of domestic sensor technologies,
🔹 Serve as a model for climate adaptation in the Mediterranean Basin.
