On December 19, 2025, as part of the technical elective course CE454 Traffic Engineering in the Civil Engineering Department, fourth-year students organized a technical visit to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department, Izmir Transportation Center (İZUM) in order to enhance their technical knowledge and professional experience. In line with the presentations delivered by İZUM officials, the students gained information on topics relevant to the course content, such as traffic flow management, signalized intersection control, and data collection methods.
