Our faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bergüzar Özbahçeci, participated as an invited speaker at the OFFSHORE WIND TURKIYE (OWT) 2025 Conference held in Çanakkale on May 7–8.
In the session on Floating-Based Wind Power Projects, she presented the work carried out at IZTECH on the floating offshore wind turbine platform named “FloaTolia,” which has been developed and patented by the institution.
The conference, which brought together representatives from ports, shipyards, private sector manufacturers and implementers, public institutions, and relevant associations, proved to be highly productive.
