Summer Practice

Dear Civil Engineering Students,

The issues related to the summer internship to be held at the end of the 2023 -2024 semester are as follows:

It is necessary to arrange the ‘Internship Application Form’ with the institution/organization where they will do the internship to take action by taking out public holidays within the start/end dates of the internship.

The signed Internship Application Form filled out by the institutions/organizations where the internship will be performed will be delivered by hand to the Department Internship Coordinator to confirm the dates and eligibility.

The approved ‘Internship Application Form’ signed original should be sent to the Department Internship Coordinator.

The ‘Internship Application Form’ must be submitted to the Department Internship Coordinator for approval at least 20 days before the internship start date.

Students who want to do the CE300-CE400 internship must register for the course using the team codes announced via e-mail (until 01.05.2024 at the latest).

Conducting Compulsory Internship Applications in a Digital Environment

In order to ensure that compulsory internship applications are carried out in a more accurate and efficient manner, the internship application module named “Internship Management System”, which has been completed through the joint efforts of the Information Technologies Department and our Dean’s Office, will be put into active use as of 07.01.2026.

Accordingly, students who plan to complete their compulsory internships during the interim period within the 2025–2026 Academic Calendar, covering the dates 26.01.2025–20.02.2026, are requested to submit their applications via the Internship Management System available at ” stajbasvuru.iyte.edu.tr

However, since the system is newly implemented, in order to prevent any potential loss of rights or penal situations related to Social Security Institution (SSI) procedures that may arise due to possible technical issues during the application process, it will be possible—exclusively for the interim period—to apply through the existing method, namely by submitting the application forms with an official cover letter.
